Countless considerations go into every step from design through production to delivery to make finkid products particularly durable and robust.

To ensure this longevity, we prioritize the highest quality from the very start—both in the selection of our materials and during manufacturing. But you can also contribute to this: With proper care and mindful use, your finkid product will remain a loyal companion for many years to come.
Our materials: functional & consciously selected
When selecting our materials, functionality, quality, appearance, and texture are the top priorities. Depending on the product, we use as many recycled materials as possible, organic cotton, mulesing-free wool, and bamboo viscose. For leather, we rely on certified tanneries and only use Gold Standard.
We select our materials to match the requirements of our products. In doing so, we pay attention to properties such as ease of care, durability, and functionality. Only PFC-free finishes and BIONIC-FINISH® ECO are used when required for the products.
Designed in Berlin – inspired by real life
Our finkid models are created in our own design studio in Berlin – with an eye toward everyday life and our children’s play, both indoors and outdoors. The designs are timeless, sturdy, and well thought-out – using durable materials, replaceable wear parts, and cross-season Zip-in compatibility. Need replacements? Reliable Partnerships & Fair Production
We work closely with independent producers in Asia and Europe – based on long-standing partnerships and personal exchange. In addition to high quality, we prioritize short transport routes and direct collaboration. Our Asian production facilities are BSCI-audited and meet social standards along the supply chain. All suppliers commit to a Code of Conduct in accordance with the requirements of the International Labour Organization – for fair working hours, minimum wages, safe workplaces, and the prohibition of child labor.

Our commitment: durable products through thoughtful design and strict quality checks. Our employees oversee production on-site to verify working conditions and standards. All suppliers meet the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 – tested for health-hazardous and prohibited substances. This is how we ensure quality and fairness – while also strengthening our partnerships.

Washing less, targeted spot cleaning, and gentle handling extend the product’s lifecycle – especially with technical fabrics.
