What is Bite Protect?
1. Reliable insect protection
The products from the finkid BITE PROTECT series offer effective protection against mosquitoes, flies, lice, ticks, and other insects. The special treatment of the textiles significantly reduces the likelihood of mosquito bites and tick bites – ideal for outdoor adventures and everyday life in nature.
2. Innovative technology without killing insects
finkid uses the Si Repel Mosquito® textile finish from Smart Innovation®. The active ingredient IR3535® contained within it ensures that insects stay at a distance of roughly 40–50 cm from the treated surface. The effect is neither noticeable nor detectable to humans and other animals, and it functions without killing insects.
3. Long-lasting, skin-friendly & sustainable
The insect protection lasts up to 100 washes and thus offers particularly long-lasting and sustainable protection. IR3535® is odorless, non-toxic, not harmful to the environment, and dermatologically tested. In addition, the active ingredient is BPR-, FDA- and EPA-approved, REACH-compliant, and recommended by the WHO.
4. Note on Usage
BITE PROTECT products are not personal protective equipment. Insects can still sting or bite exposed areas of skin. For comprehensive protection, it is therefore important to ensure the skin is covered as completely as possible.
