At finkid, we aim to provide all people with as accessible an experience as possible on our online store and digital content, regardless of individual abilities or impairments.
Accessibility at finkid
Our online store at finkid.de sells clothing, shoes and accessories, and provides information about our products and our company. Customers can search for items, select products, add them to their cart, and place and pay for orders online.
Our online shop is subject to the requirements of the Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the Barrier-Free Strengthening Ordinance (BFSGV).
For accessible design, we particularly follow the European standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at compliance levels A and AA.
How we implement accessibility
We are continuously working to make our online shop perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. This includes, among other things:
- full operability via keyboard wherever possible
- sufficient color contrasts and easily readable content
- a clear and understandable page and heading structure
- alternative text for relevant images
- clear labels for controls and form fields
- support for screen readers and other assistive technologies
- barrier-free use of product selection, shopping cart, and checkout process
The accessibility of our online shop is continuously reviewed and improved. Individual areas may still have barriers at present. If we become aware of such barriers, we will review them and work on an appropriate solution.
